Vietnam to receive 1 million more vaccine doses from Japan

Hanoi (VNA) – One million doses of
donated by Japan are expected to be delivered to on July 1 and July 8,
the Ministry of Health said on June 29.

Plus another already delivered on
June 16, Japan has to date presented 2 million doses of AstraZeneca
vaccine to Vietnam.

“Japan’s donation of vaccines to Vietnam is a testament for the
profound friendship between the two countries,” the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam
said in a statement on June 25.

The vaccine doses will help Vietnam fight against the COVID-19
pandemic./.
