Hanoi (VNA) –
Vietnam reported no new
cases on April 28, keeping the total number at 270, according to the National Steering Committee for
COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The country has gone 12 straight days with no
as at 6:00pm on April 28, the committee said.

A total of 222 patients have recovered while 48
are being treated at nine medical facilities, of whom eight have tested
negative once, seven negative twice and above and 33 positive.

Of the 48 patients, 38 are being treated at
, eight at provincial ones and two at district medical
centres.

There are three patients in critical condition and
eight relapse cases that are under further monitoring at medical facilities.

As many as 45,466 are under quarantine or health
monitoring, of whom 323 stay at hospitals, 8,459 at
other facilities and 36,684 at home and accommodations.

 
A total of 212,000 samples have been tested so far./.
