born during the holiday from February 14 to 20, according to
Luong Ngoc Khue, Director of the under the
Health Ministry.
Khue said reports from hospitals and health authorities nationwide
showed more than 218,000 patients received and treatment during
the period.
Medical establishments nationwide treated 37,376 victims of
traffic accidents in the seven-day period, and 197 victims of firecrackers.
This year’s Tet saw a drop in the numbers of traffic
accidents and fatalities, at 218 cases and 195 deaths, but a surge in
