Da Nang targets fully vaccinating adult residents by year-end

Da Nang (VNA) – The central city
of Da Nang aims to complete giving two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine to all residents over 18
years old by the end of this year, according to the city’s Steering Committee
on Prevention and Control.

The committee said 67.6 percent of the city’s adult
population of 826,933 has been inoculated with one shot and 9.4 percent or
78,052 have been fully vaccinated with two .

The municipal Department of Health said it has
received 684,3560 doses of vaccines of all kinds.

The city will speed up the vaccination pace to give one shot of vaccine to 95 percent of the adult population by the
end of September and 100 percent by the end of October, while the rate of fully will reach 22.1
percent.
