Hanoi (VNA) –  No was confirmed in Vietnam on
May 14, marking 28 without community transmission as of 6pm
on May 14, according to the Ministry of Health.

The country’s tally remains at 288, including 148 imported cases who had been
quarantined upon arrival, and 140 infected within the community.

As many as 260 patients have so far recovered from the disease, accounting for
90 percent of the total. The remainders are being treated or under health
monitoring at medical facilities.

The British pilot, known as Patient No. 91 who is being treated at the Hospital
for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, is still in critical condition.

Doctors from top hospitals in Vietnam, in a telemedicine conference on May
12, decided on a lung transplant for the patient.

Now
13,719 people are under or quarantine in the country, of whom
334 stay at hospitals, 7,254 at other quarantine establishments and 6,141 at
home and accommodations./.
