two days ago, the National Steering Committee for Prevention and Control reported.
Among the total cases, 131 are imported ones and were
quarantined upon their arrival in Vietnam.
Two , No. 19 and 161, are showing improvements, the
national steering committee’s treatment subcommittee said, noting that the 161st patient has finished the treatment for COVID-19 and been transferred to the Hanoi-based
to receive more care to recover from the effects of stroke.
Also on May 5, 11 patients at the National Hospital for
Tropical Diseases No. 2 in Hanoi were declared to have recovered from the disease.
So far, 232 patients have been discharged from hospitals, and
the rest are under treatment at central and provincial-level healthcare
establishments.
Of
the 39 remainders, 12 have tested negative for the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2
once, and nine others negative at least twice.
There
are 25,625 people kept in quarantine at present, including 246 at hospitals,
6,165 at other quarantine facilities, and 19,214 at home./.
