capacity and quality, expand production scale, enhance agricultural
restructuring and striving to make the province become the nation’s key
pharmaceuticals region.
The PM requested the province to establish an authority of integrity, action
and serving for the people and businesses, improve the business and investment
environment, encourage start-up and development of enterprises, tackle
difficulties and support businesses and increase the provincial competitiveness
to attract more investors, the (VGP) reported.
He proposed enhancing the application of high-technology, facilitating the
development of clean and organic agriculture, attracting more investment in
agriculture and concentrating on vocational training for local people,
especially the ethnic minority.
Over the past first half of 2018, the province witnessed the economic growth of
7.9 percent, heading to achieve 9.25 percent for the year.
The Government leader stressed the need to raise the value and sustainably
develop the province’s advantageous products, focusing on promoting the
pharmacy industry and establishing the national trade mark for Ngoc Ling
ginseng.
It is necessary to renew and upgrade the quality of tourist products,
accelerate tourism promotion programs and encourage more local people to join
in introducing tourism, aiming to make the province become a crucial tourism
destination in the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area.
The PM requested strengthening management in all fields, particularly planning,
land, natural resources, environment, exploitation activities of natural
resources as well as actively responding to climate change, natural calamity,
floods and protecting the environment.
He also asked to improve the local people’s material and spiritual life, ensure
social security and sustainably reduce poverty, especially for ethnic
