Hai Phong (VNA) – As many as 430
and in the northern city of Hai Phong took part in a programme on April 16 at the , the leading hospital in the city.
This was an
activity to help ease a blood shortage for health care amid complicated
developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Director of the hospital’s centre for hematology and blood transfusion Hoang Van
Phong said that to ensure health safety for
donors, organisers provided hand sanitiser and face masks for them and checked
their body temperature.
As many as 420 blood units were collected at the event./.
