COVID-19 Prevention and Control’s Treatment Sub-Committee on July 13 announced
five more deaths related to , bringing the total number of
to 130.
These cases are in Ho Chi Minh City, the southern province
of Dong Nai and the northern province of Bac Giang and all of them suffered
serious underlying diseases.
Specifically, the 126th death is a 38-year-old
woman, residing in Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City. She tested positive to
SARS-CoV-2 on June 29 and died on July 5 from kidney failure and pneumonia.
The 127th fatality is a 39-year-old man in
District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. He was found positive to the virus on June 21.
Suffering pulmonary tuberculosis, he died on July 6 due to pneumonia caused by
the virus, sepsis shock and chronic kidney failure.
The 128th case is a man, 61, residing in District
8, Ho Chi Minh City, and has suffered high blood pressure for 10 years. After
testing positive on June 20, he passed away on July 6.
The 129th death is a 48-year-old woman, residing
in Dong Nai province, had high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes and obesity. She
died on July 7 after testing positive five days earlier.
The 130th fatality is a 55-year-old man in Bac
Giang province. He suffered from cirrhosis and tested positive on June 15. He
passed away on July 11./.
