COVID-19 patients treated at National Hospital for Tropical Diseases (Source: VNA)Hanoi (VNA) – The National Steering Committee for Prevention
and Control has announced that 21 more patients were given the all-clear on
April 17 after testing negative for the coronavirus at least twice.
Seventeen of these were treated
at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in , one received treatment
at Nho Quan district’s general hospital in the northern province of Ninh Binh, and the
remaining three were declared to have fully recovered by the Tuberculosis and
Lung Diseases Hospital in the Mekong Delta province of .
All are Vietnamese nationals and
will continue to be quarantined for the next 14 days and have their health regularly
monitored.
To date, 198 out of 268 infections
in Vietnam have been treated successfully, and most patients receiving ongoing treatment
are in a stable condition./.
