Hanoi (VNA) – No new cases were recorded over the past 12 hours, making the tally stay
unchanged at 1,068 as of 6pm on September 22, according to the National Steering
Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.  

Ten patients were given the all clear on September 22, raising the
number of recoveries to 957.

The death toll remains at 35, mostly
with serious .

Currently, there are
23,725 people having close contact with confirmed cases or coming from
pandemic-hit regions under quarantine.

 Vietnam has gone
through 20 days clear of locally-transmitted cases. September 22 also marked
the 55th day Ho Chi Minh City has had no new cases infected in the
community, and the 34th day for Hanoi./.
