Hanoi (VNA) – The received 326 billion VND
(14.1 million USD) worth of donations on June 11 from the financial and other sectors
for the national vaccine fund.
Property developer the Sun Group gave 300 billion VND, the S-Generation
fund 20 billion VND, the State Treasury 3 billion VND, the Vietnam Lottery
Company (Vietlott) 2 billion VND, and the Debt and Asset Trading
Corporation 1 billion VND.
Vietnam is projected to need 150 million doses of vaccine to inoculate
about 75 million people at an estimated cost of 25.2 trillion VND (nearly 1.1
billion USD).
According to the management board of the fund, as of 11am on June 11 it had
received a total of 4.3 trillion VND from 267,928 organisations and
individuals./.
