Hanoi (VNA) – Three more COVID-19 patients who had
previously been given the all-clear tested positive again, bringing the number
of such cases to eight, it was reported on April 27.
The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and
Control said Patient 74 from northern Phu Tho province was discharged from
hospital on April 10 after testing negative twice. However, after 14 days of
quarantining at home, his results turned positive on April 25. The patient has
been readmitted to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Meanwhile, the reported Patients
207 and 224 again tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 five days after they were
discharged from the city-based Cu Chi Hospital for Acute Respiratory
Disease on April 18 and 20.
