
Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam documented one locally-transmitted COVID-19 case in the northern province of Bac Giang in the past 12 hours as of 6 am
on February 10, taking the national tally from the latest outbreak to 484
cases, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and
Control.
Patient 2,070, a 20-year-old man, had close contact with Patient 1,820. He was
put under quarantine from February 1, and is receiving treatment at the
No. 2 in Dong Anh district, Hanoi.
The country has registered 2,070 COVID-19 cases so far. Of the total, 1,177
were locally-transmitted cases.
According to the Treatment Sub-committee under National Steering Committee for
Prevention and Control, 1,474 COVID-19 patients have recovered while 35 died
from related to the disease. Among the patients still under
treatment, 14 have tested negative for the virus once, 14 twice, and four thrice.
There are 99,854 people who had close contact with confirmed cases or
came from the pandemic-hit regions under quarantine at present, including 809
at hospitals, 20,826 at other quarantine sites, and 78,219 at home./.
