Projects address health, social issues in Thua Thien – Hue

Thua Thien – Hue (VNA) – The central province of Thua Thien- Hue will carry out a US-funded project to provide sustainable solutions to address health and in the province.

The project will use non-refundable aid of 55,000 USD from the United States Agency for International Development () via the Development Credit Authority ().

The two-year project aims to train and engage local youths in community work, such as enhancing public health and environment protection.

Norway’s Phuc’s Fund also provided aid of 572 million VND (25,740 USD) to help disadvantaged people in the province.

The amount covers scholarships for disadvantaged students, gifts for poor people, and upgrades to several social facilities.-VNA
