Hanoi (VNA) – Additional 662 infections,
including three imported cases, were reported in the last 11 hours to 6am on July
12, raising the to 30,478, according to the Ministry of Health
(MoH).

Among the new locally-infected cases, 544 were
found  in Ho Chi Minh City,  43 in
Tien Giang, 27 in Khanh Hoa, 26 in Vinh Long, eight in An Giang, five in Binh
Phuoc, four in Phu Yen, one each in Thua Thien – Hue and Nghe An.

To date, Vietnam has documented 28,551 and 1,927 imported
ones.

The number of cases since the fourth
wave of the pandemic began on April 27 was 26,981.

The MoH said
as many as 9,275 patients have been given the all-clear so far, while the death
toll now stands at 119.  

Among the active patients, 339 have tested
negative for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 once, 130 twice and 70 thrice.

Twelve provinces that were hit by the pandemic
have gone through 14 days without new infections.

On July 11, an additional 12,734 people
received COVID-19 vaccine shots nationwide. So far, 4,051,585 vaccine doses
have been injected. The number of people getting the full two shots is 277,447./.
