Hanoi (VNA) – The suspended admitting
patients on late night July 25 after nine people in the hospital, seven
patients and two medical workers, were confirmed to be positive for coronavirus,
according to Director Pham Huu Thuong.

The hospital conducted after a
24-year-old woman, who had been under treatment at the hospital from July 6 –
22, tested positive with SARS-CoV-2 at another hospital on July 24. She was
discharged from the Lung Hospital on June 22 in good conditions.

The screening testing found 14 positive cases, with nine
confirmed as of 6pm July 25, prompting the of the hospital. The
remaining cases are waiting for confirmation from Hanoi CDC.

The source of infection of all the cases remains unknown,
Thuong said, adding that contact tracing has been promptly conducted.

It has so far collected 323 samples for testing,
including 214 from the in-patients. About 400 samples are expected to be
collected./.
